The complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to Cornell was greatly appreciated, as was the free continental breakfasts (waffle-machine was a bonus!). The location may not be the most attractive one in NYC but it is very convenient - fast transportation to the hotel from the JFK airport by subway; only few minutes subway ride to Manhattan. The subway station is so close to the hotel, that when you got off the station you can actually see the hotel right from there. The vicinity of the hotel seems to be quite safe and it was rather quiet in the night. We had very good view on Empire State building and Queensboro bridge from the hotel room. The

The room was clean and comfortable. The view was really nice as well. The entire time I was there I felt comfortable; from the moment I stepped into the fireplace-lit entrance (with a visitors library, which was also awesome!) it was a nice place to be. All of the facilities were clean and the breakfast area was spotless and the food delicious. Highly recommend!!

Gym was good, Breakfast included eggs and some sort of meat, great for people cutting their sugars. Coffee, tea and lemon ice water offered all day long. Apart from vending and ice machine, there is also machine wash and dryer in my floor

During my stay, the hotel was also offering free buffet dinner (although you need to go to a hotel close by)

It was my daughter and son's first trip to NYC and coming by train it was a very convenient location. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful and locked our luggage after check-out so we could sightsee. The beds are extremely comfortable, room was clean and I felt very safe travelling alone with two young children (10 and 5yrs). The cafe next door has great breakfast food and were extremely friendly as well. The TV had no cable reception at first but they came up promptly to fix it. I asked
