I loved the large rooms and bathrooms and the beautifully tasteful renovation of the old Seminary building - very classy. But especially the location near the High Line for walking and near Chelsea Market and all the great restaurants. The staff was super accommodating an genuinely nice and there is a gourmet coffee/tea bar in the lobby with lovely fresh backed goods for the morning.

The staff are fabulous, very friendly, professional, cannot do more to help. The pool is great - at times (weekend afternoons when the sun is out) it is quite a "scene" which might annoy someone looking to relax but it is what it is (and at other times it is very relaxing). The restaurants are very good and the rooftop bar/club PHD is great on a Saturday (although be aware that it is run separately from the hotel so after 11 or so, being a hotel guest does not guarantee access). The staff, location and excellent value. The rooms are small but very nicely equipped. 22nd street is more quiet than most, so the street noise was very low for NY. Neighborhood is full of restaurants and shops, subway is a short block away, and there is a Citibike stand right outside the front door.

Staff we're amazing. We went to celebrate my partners 30th and they help arrange champagne and chocolate Strawberries for our arrival in the room and managed to upgrade us and give us an early check in.
The plunge bar was very cool and had some cocktails which were great. Shame it wasn't the weather to use the pool :-(

Loved the convenience of the drive up and valet, although $50 wa a little expensive.
$265 room with 2 lunch salads and 1 small pot of coffee and a bottle of water (room service) and valet put the room charge to $460. Ended up being pretty expensive for one night. We may consider staying again, but more expensive than we expected.

The warm cookies, really helpful staff, shower pressure, the free bottled water was a massive highlight to us and has set a personal standard. Also having the opportunity to check in early was amazing after getting off an overnight flight.

I booked two high-floor rooms. One had a lovely view over the skyline, while the other had a view of a brick wall! The location of the hotel was ideal - a very short walk to 8th Avenue, eateries, shops, etc. Our room was spacious with excellent WIFI. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially James who sprinted all the way from the hotel to 8th Avenue to flag down a cab for us so that we could be at the Palace Theatre in good time. -

The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly in every experience I had with them. The location is fantastic - in the middle of the flower district, safe and walking distance to everything my group needed. Overall, I'm very happy with the stay there.
