If you like a historic, vintage kind of place the Menger Hotel is just that. Has a lot o tradition and is very comfortable. This is an old, historic hotel. As such, it has charm, character,
elegance and comfort but do not expect modern amenities. For example,
the older wing has only one small elevator. This is not a hotel
appropriate for families, but great for couples, business travelers and
retirees; anyone seeking beauty, peace and quiet, and something
different from cookie cutter hotel chains.

Had to change nights. Westin and letsbookhotel.com were able to accommodate change. have not been able to do that with other sites. Thanks to ALEX at Westin!! -
Loved the pool. Beauitifully designed with good views. Beds very comfortable. Nice and spacious bathroom. Shower is AMAZING.

I've stayed at many highly rated hotels in San Antonio, and Mokara
is unquestionably at the top of my list. It starts with superior service
- over the top attention to detail. We were walked to the elevator
during check-in by a member of the desk staff, and later - accompanied
by a doorman down to the riverwalk level of the hotel as he provided us

Loved the personal touch and attention to detail when it came to staff service. The location is perfect on the River Walk, and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was great. Rooftop pool was perfect for relaxing, and the spa employees were fun and engaging.

The stay was great and all the staff was super friendly...but what I
liked most was you could opt out of valet parking and park yourself for
about 1/3 the cost. The self serve parking garage was only a block

The hotel staff was very friendly, professional and courteous throughout our stay. The hotel is located on the Riverwalk and very convenient. My wife and I were very comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. We rate this hotel as excellent and definitely would choose to stay there again on our next visit.
