  We received a lovely warm welcome at a beautiful country house set in stunning gardens. The property was beautifully clean, comfortable, elegant and restful, and a wonderful place to stay. Our host was charming and kind, very attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were sumptuous and the afternoon tea absolutely delicious. Thank you for a memorable stay. - An excellent country B&B, probably one of the best we have stayed in. Wonderful attention to detail. The room was extremely confortable and well thought out. The breakfast was superb. A huge range of breads, cheeses, meats, yoghurt s etc. The grounds were a delight, full of scultures and suprises! The house over looks Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Tor in the distance. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

  The house and garden, complete with free range chickens, are lovely. The owners were very welcoming and helpful lending umbrellas, torches etc. Also gave good advice on where to eat and visit. The accommodation was very comfortable with quality touches everywhere.   We have stayed before and the standards have varied but we were very comfortable. Warn against over zealous staff.   First impressions were lovely. Clean airy welcoming appartment. Easy access to the centre of Wells. Free parking in the Hotel.
