Excellent dinner and lunch. The food was piping hot, which was much appreciated and the lunch menu was adjusted to meet our personal choices and was all we could wish for. We met some Canadian cousins for the first time and it was a wonderful spot to meet up for lunch on the side of the Thames with them. This is a fairly new and beautifully appointed hotel. We stayed in an Executive Suite which was a lovely room. The room was spotless, the bed wonderfully comfortable and great corner settee to lounge on.

The Courtyard Woodstock Hotel is a new building just 3 minutes from the train station that has a 10 minute train ride to Oxford and Cotswold villages.There are also good bus connections to Woodstock Blenheim Palace and other Cotswold villages. Easy to get to public footpaths for country walks.

We have stayed at Fairlawns many times and have never been disappointed. We arrived a bit early after a long transatlantic flight and Matt was very accommodating about finding a room that met our needs even though it was not the room they had planned for us. The breakfast was fabulous as usual.
