A very warm welcome. Would stay again and tell family and friends howgood it was. The breakfast was very good. Paul and lorraine made youfill right at home - Lovely friendly couple running the hotel. Good facilities. 5 minutes walk from the Riviera Leisure Centre where I was attending a function.

I stayed here as I had a family wedding to attend. Complimentary pot of tea on arrival from the host June which was lovely. Fast, efficient check in and the room was spotless. Good location, close to Torquay centre had parking facilities at rear of hotel and parking at front of hotel which was very good as difficult to park in Torquay centre. Very clean rooms with everything that is needed. The dining room and lounge were very comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of variety. Tea and coffee offered in abundance. Very welcoming owners and nothing was too much trouble. Would recomend to all friends and family as very reasonable cost and ve

The hotel is set in a very good location near the sea. It has character of the old seaside town hotel, complete with tartan style carpet! stayed for 2 nights with a party of 7. and when we arrived we we`re greeted by a very nice chap at the reception and given the keys to the rooms to relax.and basically from that moment on the 2 nights was excellent and all the staff smiled and nothing was too much trouble.the 5 course meal was fab,the beds comfortable & breakfast ample.all in all a lovely weekend had by all

The owners were very helpful and suggested some interesting things to see nearby. Lots of leaflets and dining ideas provided too. The proprietors were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful when my mother became ill whilst we were staying there.
The room was very clean and furnished with a modern taste.
There was a good amount of tea, coffee, milk etc and a couple of small touches such as a chocolate and some biscuits made it feel special.
The breakfast was well cooked and served promptly.

The location is superbe, with magnificent views from our room, the dining room, lounge and terrace. The staff were most attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed the food. Lynton is a great base to explore Exmoor,and the hotel is easy to find and beautifully placed to walk the towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. -

The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the en suite was very nice, the staff were friendly and the guest house in a good location for the city centre. We enjoyed a choice of breakfasts in the morning, overall a good stay, we would book again.
