  Families well catered for Staff are Fantastic and Friendly Always and are very children friendly at all times Most of the food is Good, Fish is excellent and Breakfast is also excellent and service is very good considering the volume of customers and amount of covers being served. Waiting times for food at peak times can be 60 minutes so dont wait... cosa dice la gente » until absolutely starving Location is Fantastic, Views are amazing from all the rooms and the beach is literally 20 feet from the front of the hotel - The atmosphere of the very cosy bar and restaurant - old world with open fire. The upstairs Boathouse restaurant has views across the cove and we had dinner watching the sun set. The food was wonderful, the staff were very friendly and efficient. The view and sound of the sea from our room. The location is brilliant for walking the coast path to beautiful bays, and only 15 minutes drive to Salcombe. The village of Hope Cove is really pretty and quiet, with a very small Post Office stores.

  Excellent food Attentive service Authentic and original people running it A truly hidden and un touched valley Relaxed Good cotton bedding and comfy large beds Original decor and artefacts welcoming - Very relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful food. Very friendly staff. Bed linen was super soft and very clean.
