Booked a superior room after seeing the pics on the website, absolutely lovely; enjoyed the evening meal and the breakfast; all the staff were very friendly; great location; would definitely come back in the summer. - Wonnderful location, hotel staff were all very good and the special rate made it very attractive.

we stayed in one of the lodges. very quiet, very comfortable and spacious 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Introduced my wife and young daughter to the driving range and now they are both hooked! Breakfast was excellent as was the clubhouse and swimming pool. Perfect location for Dartmouth, Salcombe and South Devon. -

The location was great. The staff very good and overall value for money- excellent. The restaurant offered a wide range of food, from every day favourites to something a bit special if you wanted to push the boat out. - There was nothing to dislike, the food, staff, service and facilities were all brilliant.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and comfortable.The gardens were well maintained. Our room was lovely and clean and as requested we had a cot for our daughter which was clean and comfortable.The bathroom was fantastic, it was relaxing to have a bath evenings.The breakfast was delicious!

David, Pam and their daugher made my stay very pleasant and i had a very quiet and restfull time. I truly enjoyed my 5 days of holiday there. - Welcoming, relaxed, helpful! We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to go again next year!

The location was perfect with everything on our doorstep, we parked the car in their car park(added bonus) and did not need to drive again till we left.
Caroline and Alan great hosts with a very welcome tray of tea when we arrived and great breakfast. Longmead is a beautiful house that is full of warmth and character. Would definately stay there again.

As a cycling group, several of us arrived late but they kept the kitchen open late to feed us which really was appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up well for our second day of cycling! Lovely place with friendly staff.

Staff are Fantastic and Friendly Always and are very children friendly at all times
Most of the food is Good, Fish is excellent and Breakfast is also excellent and service is very good considering the volume of customers and amount of covers being served. Waiting times for food at peak times can be 60 minutes so dont wait

From the moment we got there to when we left we were made to feel welcome. Friendly atmosphere, calm and casual, and very professional. The room was brilliantly clean; the breakfast is one of the best I have had away from home. Great hosts, great hotel, thank you Chris, Kerry, and Yvonne. This will be our first choice hotel to stay at in the Torbay area from now on.

The food was genuine with the exception of the orange juice for breakfast which was obviously out of a carton. Freshly squeezed orange (or grapefruit) would have been in keeping the the rest of breakfast and the other meals.The overall ambiance was excellent and the guys on the reception desk were well above the average and the hotel offered to prepare any meal if there was nothing on the menu to suit and offered Gluten free food. Great grounds and the river bank walk idyllic.
