The house was bright and our hosts were friendly and welcoming.
The tea and coffee served on our arrival was greatly appreciated.
The breakfast menu choices were both innovative and very tasty and the portions suited us perfectly.
We found the beds really comfortable and there was no shortage of hot water.
Bathrooms and bedrooms were spotlessly clean and the communal lounge was a great asset.

My husband and i came to the Teignmouth area for our honeymoon and return for our 25th wedding anniversary. When we got to our room there was an anniversary card from Nicky and Brian.Nicky had also booked us a table at a local restaurent.Brian was a great chef and breakfast was very good. They were both very helpful and friendly. Our room had agreat view of the sea and we had a lovely weekend at Thornhill. Definitely come again.

Ferndale hotel is on its own nestled high up on a ledge surrounded by trees making it a very cosy romantic place to stay just what we wanted and the four poster room number 6 was clean and the bed was beautiful and comfortable.
