With original wooden beams and a bar serving real ales, this 17th-century Grade II-listed building is full of historic character. An English Heritage Site, it serves home-cooked food and has free Wi-Fi. The Tudor House Hotel’s bedrooms are each unique, and decorated in a traditional style. Modern features in every room include a TV, tea and coffee and a bathroom with a hairdryer. With a special fish night, home-made pie night and steak night during the week, the restaurant uses local ingredients wherever possible. The popular bar stocks a selection of wines and cask ales. Tudor House is in the heart of Market Drayton, in the town’s main shopping area. There are also several bars in the immediate area, and Market Drayton Golf Club is a 10-minute walk away.

The hotel was a very old 17th Century Grade 11 listed building. The rooms were to a very high standard as was the bathroom. The location was excellent, right in the town centre and easy access to bars and restaurants. The full english breakfast was very tasty and actually served on hot plates!!. The staff were all very friendly and informative. The room was spacious and very clean. It is a very old hotel - 16th century, and had many of the original features - beams etc., which gave it character. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

The Tudor House Hotel is steeped in History, it is nice to have been part of it. The rooms are adequate for single use and the breakfast is outstanding. The full English breakfast was tasty. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We had a large room with a four poster bed included. Really good staff, excellent customer service. Perfect accommodation if you require a place to stay for a few nights in Drayton. Good value The only hotel in a town we wanted to stay at. Plenty of character. Excellent meals Staff very helpful. I can see why older people would complain about the noise outside on a weekend but that's just simply bad luck due to a kebab shop. It's really not the end of the world. The location of the Hotel is right smack in the middle of town and the parking is a nightmare; I know the hotel came first but they should do something about customer parking!!. Very steep stairs.(No good at all for a diabled person.) Parking o.k. but some way away from hotel. Typical weekend late night drinking regime means that Friday and Saturday nights are noisy until the early hours. Not the hotels fault of course but the central location makes noise unavoidable. Would visit again but would avoid the weekends. Boy racers in the streets, late at night and even in the morning. We avoided the weekend having read previous reviews but still didn't get much sleep. No parking on site. Bar closed too early for an all male group of thirsty golfers!. No hotel car park. Nothing. The noise from pub next door until 4am. No onsite parking. Bed had a plastic mattress protector. Every time we moved we slid about. The walls were paper thin and could hear everything in adjoining rooms! Very busy outside, cars racing up the street until the early hours and lots of noise from people visiting the kebab shop opposite. Getting the shower to produce hot water was difficult, but the staff were responsivewhen alerfed to the problem. The room was over the main route for traffic kept us awake most of the night young drivers speeding into the early hours and people outside shouting! Also be was extremely uncomfortable and in next room were staff and they were extremely noisy laughing and talking loudly!. Noise outside in the middle of the night. Price of breakfast. Creaky bed. Noisy pipes/plumbing. Old school TV set. Overall price - needs to be a lot cheaper for me to return.
