Very welcoming staff and a good choice of tasty food the bedrooms had everything you need for a good nights rest breakfast was very good too we left relaxed and ready to continue our journey. Despite us constantly being late the staff went out of their way to accommodate. One of the best breakfasts ever. Room beautifully warm. Heating on when we arrived. Lovely quiet rooms. Convenient and functional short stay accomodation, dated annex rooms but clean and comfortable, shower not good - wifi in room excellant but poor in main building. Food was excellant.

Food , beer, cost very good value for the price. Breakfast, good choice of cooked and continental. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good and served in good time. Good food. everything was ok apart from the whole place being a little tired. Good breakfast with an excellent fresh fruit salad available. Nice bar with good food, reasonably priced. I had missed dinner being served, but they managed to get me a dessert!. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was quite good. Nothing at all. Only the dog poo around the entrance to reception. Bit too far to walk to local town, not in town as I thought from the booking site. Other than your bedroom or the bar there was not a comfortable area to sit in the evening. can`t think of any. the weather hahaha. Poor pressure in the shower. Quite cold in the pub both at breakfast and in the evening. Very noisy fan near room, hard to sleep with the noise. very poor phone signal and food is quite pricey. Breakfast was perfect, but the dinners where not so good, a lot of frozen produce I would imagine. Location on main road made it a bit noisy at night. The accommodation is by the air conditioning units - too noisy. The room smelt musty , was not connected to the pub, so if problems had to go outside.. Pillows soooooo flat that they weren't worth having ....lots of spiders in the room. At breakfast when asking for something as simple as porridge was given a disapproving look. On the way out in daylight you could see the place hadn't seen a duster in years, cobwebs huge and everywhere. The room was cold and old fashioned. The Wi-Fi did not work, the hot tap in the bathroom was so stiff you couldn't turn it on, the shower was broken the bath was tiny and the lights by the side of the bed didn't work either. The kettle was dirty and even after putting the small electric fire on the room was freezing all night. I was not looking for luxury but the basic things should be right and at this place they were not. It's a pity because the location and staff were great.
