I would really recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking to spend some time in this pretty part of Suffolk. Linda and Tony (the owners) are lovely people and make you feel very welcome as well as a very comfortable room to relax in after a busy day out and about. We very much enjoyed our stay. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. At short notice, they helped us to find a local flower shop to get a bouquet of flowers for a 100 birthday. Very friendly staff who we re very helpful. Breakfast was very nice and the room was clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location, although if you have a room on the front it can sometimes be noisey due to traffic (boy racers and motorbikes!
Highly recommended if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay that is good value.

Very convenient location for us, nice and quiet, unpretentious, extremely clean and comfortable room with plenty of space and large bed, immaculate shower/bath/WC room, very pleasant Beefeater next door again with unpretentious but tasty menu. Although the room was very small it was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed including hair drier, iron/board, TV and coffee making facilities. Second visit this year. Room was luxury double. Fairly big room,comfortable and clean.
Good sized full English breakfast ,good menu choice.The hotel also does a very reasonably priced evening meal.
Very good price for room which includes the breakfast.
Check in was quick and easy and the staff were very polite.

We were impressed by our first view of this hotel. Much better than expected as was Lowestoft itself. Car park just over the road from the hotel entrance. Easily accessed lift just by reception and very few steps for disabled persons like myself.

Brilliant Hotel, staff very polite, nothing was to much trouble, The Sunday Buffet was excellent and so was the breakfast the next morning, Room large & comfortable and warm, the bathroom was large and the shower was nice & hot and easy to work. the number of T.V. programs were excellent. the view from the enlarged bar/decking area was good, very very happy with our stay would recommend.

Everything. Very polite staff, lovely food and very clean. The room although not with a sea view was very cozy, clean and also supplied toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. At my last stay at the Hatfield I had a sea view which was excellent. - Both reception and breakfast staff were excellent - polite, helpful and attentive.
