  Steve and Cath gave me such a warm welcome, and were happy to help wherever needed. Including making me a packed breakfast when I had to leave very early. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with good size rooms and lovely facilities. Could not have picked a better place, and great value for money. I will be back!! - Nice little place to get our head down after a long tiring day wedding planning. Perfect for what we needed and would definitely recommend for our wedding guests in June 2014. Breakfast was superb. Lovely couple who own the place were nice enough to chat with us and give advice on the area.

  second visit and again room was fantastic. couldn't meet a nicer proprietor in Pauline.   We wanted a value-for-money place where we could arrive late and this was perfect. We had a double and 2 single rooms (allowing our grown-up sons not to share) for the same price as the budget chains with good facilities. Sleeping in the annex we were able to park outside the rooms. Dining room closed before we arrived, but we were given the numbe... cosa dice la gente » r of a local pizzeria which would deliver to the hotel - sorted! - Staff really friendly and helpful. Happy to arrange for me to have meals in room due to having my spaniel along, and even supplying a snack for said dog! When I was delayed due to poor weather, staff waited up for my arrival and gave me a lovely warm welcome at the end of a difficult trip. Basically, make me feel as if I'm visiting with friends.

  The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and very good value for money. I also liked the fact that the hotel was quiet at night so was easy to get a good nights sleep. - The hotel staff were clearly understaffed however they were always verypolite and friendly to us.
