  Apartment is well-furnished and spacious with parking included and security. Grocery, coffee shop and taxi stand are around the corner. Make sure to arrive before the office closes. We arrived after the office closed and had trouble finding the key and also the apartment.   Stuart was so helpful. He went out of his way to fix up a problem with our booking, carrying all our luggage for us up and down lots of stairs! The apartment we booked was right in the centre of Edinburgh, and was extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay in the same apartment again. - Apartment was great, really clean, great location & Stuart couldn't have been more helpful. Really nice & modern, two enormous twin beds, a beautiful master en-suite bedroom and a comfortable bunk bed room. Stuart was also very good in allowing us to check in early and check out later as well as recommending some nice cafes in the area for lunch. Very central to city centre, couldn't recommend it highly enough!

  The most outstanding feature of Garfield Guest House is the staff, all of whom are friendly, flexible, and helpful. A close second is the delicious and generous breakfast, with locally sourced sausages and salmon, several menu choices each morning including vegan and vegetarian options. Within half a mile, there are a few takeaway restaurants, - Martin and Michelle were absolutely amazing! Really easy going and friendly. The breakfasts were great and they even made other guest's meals that weren't even on the menu!! They both work really hard and long hours and always have a smile on their faces. They made the start of our trip to Edinburgh.
