Cosa dice la gente
Stuart was so helpful. He went out of his way to fix up a problem with
our booking, carrying all our luggage for us up and down lots of stairs!
The apartment we booked was right in the centre of Edinburgh, and was
extremely comfortable. At night it was a little noisy, but we were there
during the huge Edinburgh Festival period, and normally it would not be
a problem. We would definitely stay in the same apartment again. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Apartment was great, really clean, great location & Stuart couldn't have been more helpful. Really nice & modern, two enormous twin beds, a beautiful master en-suite bedroom and a comfortable bunk bed room. Stuart was also very good in allowing us to check in early and check out later as well as recommending some nice cafes in the area for lunch. Very central to city centre, couldn't recommend it highly enough!.
Clean, spacious apartment next to the Royal College. Furnished with all utilities including cooker, washing machine, microwave, kettle and fridge freezer. Has plenty of cutlery and dishes for a family of six.
Royal Mile is only 10 mins away even walking at a slow pace. The caretaker Stuart is a great guy and very approachable.
Tesco is right next to the apartments with a few more stores that open until late.
We was at Drummont st apartment. Exellent location in the center of Edinburgh, close to everything! The view from the window is amazing! The apartment is huge, one bedroom with 2 double beds, sitting room with sofa, table and TV, and fully equipped kitchen with sitting area. Ideally for families with the children. Stuart, the men who met us, very friendly, ready to help!.
It is a very well sized apartment. Also good to live in. Unfortunately we only stayed two nights. But surely will visit again for a longer period. Steve is very helpful and understanding. Even though we arrived very late it was nice to find everything, nice and we found the apartment already warm. My one yr old and three yr old enjoyed the appartmrnt a lot.
Ample room for 8 adults. Location ideal. Stuart who arranged for keys etc had heating on ready for our arrival.
Everything available for a longer stay including;- dishwasher; washing machine;tumble dryer; iron & board; towels; bedding; etc etc.
The apartment was very central, literally everything was in walking distance. The owner, Stuart was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Edinburgh City Lets for anyone wishing to stay in the city centre.
Excellent location close to the city's main attractions. Has all the comforts of a an apartment with separate bedroom, sitting area, full kitchen and bathroom. The care taker was very friendly and helpful.
Location, cleanliness and Stuart from City Lets was excellent to deal with. We were attending Open golf and got delayed in checking in to appt. Stuart was v understanding and ensured we got into appt ok.
The flat we stayed in was in a very good location for all the venues for the Edinburgh Festival. A well equipped flat. Very helpful owner from Edinburgh City Lets.
The owner, Stuart, was helpful and polite and tried his best to make us comfortable. The flat was huge with high end furnishing throughout.
The staff very friendly. The location very close to Princess Street the house very big and nice.... I come back again....
Service was good and the location offered easy access to attractions and
amenities. We liked decor and timber flooring.
The appartment was close to the Waverly train station and was in a central location. It was quite spacious as well.
I liked that the apartment was quite spacious, and the facilities were great. Full kitchen was useful.
Good sized comfortable accommodation. Very well placed for seeing the city.
Really nice flat at cracking location. Great for family or adults alike.
The apartment was great. Good space, three bedrooms and central.
Set in a very central location and amzing views of Edinburgh.
Central location. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds.
Good location, excellent staff, value for money, wi-fi.
Location was great, apartment was lovely and spacious.
The apartment was very good, very spacious and clean.
Very central location, clean and facilities great.
Absolutely spacious and an excellent location.
Spacious, newly painted, wonderful location.
Location, space and size of accommodation. There was a problem with tyhe
booking that we didn't get two flats next to each other, but he gave
us a discount without any hassle, so good service.
The apartment was clean and airy and ticked all the boxes. Stuart was very helpful and accommodating.
Close to city centre. Modern decoration. Comfortable beds, helpful staff. Had a wonderful stay.
The landlord is very helpful and hospitable, who gave us a lot of help and recommendations.
location very near to city centre
machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher available.
Stuart was always very helpful whenever I contacted him.
The owner was very reasonable and gave a generous discount for the facilities which were not provided but mentioned.
Stuart was friendly.
The mix up with the booking which meant we had to stay in an apartment
quite a distance from our original booking on the first night - but
Stuart was really helpful about it, and we recognised the problem with
letsbookhotel.com's address for the Edinburgh's apartment and where it
really was situated.
On 3rd floor and no lift so if you have someone who can't walk up that far or have much luggage then best check in advance, although the stairs aren't steep.
There are problems with parking. You have to pay for street parking from mon. till satd. There is no lift you have to go to the 5th floor by foot.
Power shower thermostat was broken & 8 adults trying to get ready with one shower was difficult.
The six flights of stairs wouldn't be suitable for a family with young children. However they were a good workout for us young, fit group of girls.
It sits on the top floor and the stairway is dark and let down (the apartment is nicely furnished and comfortable, though). It could use some shelves or simple storage rack in the bedroom for unpacking.
the outside of appts doesn't look great and could do with a spruce up-prob outwith city Lets control tho.
Nothing!.
No hot water in the bathroom this is so bad. Have to fixit and everythimg its perfect.
Access to the flat needs cleaning and updating. Cleaning could have been
more thorough and one mattress was lumpy and needs replaced.
The accomodation has no lift, so difficult to carry luggage, as it was on the 3rd floor. Washing machine didn't work.
The only thing I didn't like was that even though the windows were closed, you could still feel a slight draft coming through. So when you were sleeping, it was a little cold. There were heaters, but it was still chilly.
Very noisy at night, take some ear plugs.
The toilet was a problem when you were as many as us (6). After flushing you had to wait around 30 minutes to flush again. We had to use a bucket with water to flush.
Have to climb over a 100 steps to get to the flat. Difficulty opening the front door.
Main building still undergoing renovations so there was a lot of debris near to the rooms. Main staircase to property very dirty and run down (although I appreciate that it may not be Edinburgh City Lets responsibility to clean them).
Flat requires some repairs (lights in the kitchen, hot water in the en-suite bathroom).
It was in the 5th floor with no lift, so it was very hard to climb the stais with lugagge.
Lots of stairs but thats what you get in old buildings!.
Oven was dirty, street noise.
Could do with a second bathroom. Bit noisy.
We had one of the top apartments - up 5 flights of stairs. The initial feeling when going into the block of flats was not good as the bottom 2 levels were quite grotty and dirty, and overall the stairwells could have done with a good clean!.
Smelled damp, no tv, lots of cob webs. No wi fi.
The only cons is that no lift.
Central heating functions not well
Main bathroom is too small
Not just one dish in the kitchen
No warm water in spa bath
No mirror in bedrooms
Dirty oven.
While on a side street, the bedroom windows were right on a main street which meant a so much street traffic noise at night time that it was hard to sleep.
The flat was the not one that was pictured when I booked. I had booked it for the large living space, but ended up in a flat with a very small living space.
Changed address of the apartment at the last moment without notifying. Apartment not even close to what it looks in the picture. Very untidy. No WiFi bcoz "the engineers were unable to set it up" which was a major hassle.
The flat was freezing, there was no free local parking as stated on the
website. The flat was also situated in a dingy close. I was underwhelmed
by the whole experience.
Accd was not properly booked so I walked in on other residents. Stuart promptly gave us an alternative but it was shabby and grubby as well as on a very noisy street corner.
