  The manager, Pedro, was great and especially kind when I got ill during my stay (nothing to do with them, I'm currently in hospital being treated for malaria after spending time in Tanzania). The breakfast - according to my husband - was excellent and the little village is lovely. The food was also exceptional - local produce with imaginative twists and beautifully cooked. The location is central in the village and the views of the surrounding hills are amazing. It is a wonderful historic building with nooks, crannies and beams everywhere.

  Fantastic view from bedroom . Friendly welcome and service , large comfortable dining room with lovely view . Ate dinner there both nights , very good standard of food and very friendly , but efficient service in the restaurant . Breakfast was very good also . Breakfast was fantastic, and made to a very high standard. The whole hotel felt very homely and the staff were excellent. Will defiantly stay again.

  Food service and cleanliness all excellent, could not fault on my visit will be using again. - The leisure centre, small but adequate, staff, Food was outstanding, cooked as it should be. Room was modern and very comfortable, clean and tidy. The quiet location ensures that a good nights rest is almost guaranteed.
