  The manager, Pedro, was great and especially kind when I got ill during my stay (nothing to do with them, I'm currently in hospital being treated for malaria after spending time in Tanzania). The breakfast - according to my husband - was excellent and the little village is lovely. Hotel is friendly and the surrounding area is beautiful. - Fantast... o que as pessoas dizem » ic welcome - the most dog-friendly place I have ever stayed in. The food was also exceptional - local produce with imaginative twists and beautifully cooked. The location is central in the village and the views of the surrounding hills are amazing. It is a wonderful historic building with nooks, crannies and beams everywhere.

  Fantastic view from bedroom . Friendly welcome and service , large comfortable dining room with lovely view . Ate dinner there both nights , very good standard of food and very friendly , but efficient service in the restaurant . Breakfast was very good also . Bed was very comfortable and had the best night sleep in years! Breakfast was fantastic, and made to a very high standard. The whole hotel felt very homely and the staff were excellent.   Food service and cleanliness all excellent, could not fault on my visit will be using again. - The leisure centre, small but adequate, staff, Food was outstanding, cooked as it should be. Room was modern and very comfortable, clean and tidy. The quiet location ensures that a good nights rest is almost guaranteed.
