Was given a bottle of local wine to take home. Very nice touch. The kitchen was available t - Everything about our stay here was 100%. Our room was clean, modern and had a lovely view and was a downhill walk into the main shops and a bus trip back which stopped outside our door. The breakfast was well worth staying in for and Veronique was a lovely hostess who answered our every question. There was nothing that was too much trouble. We couldnt catch a bus to the trains on a Sunday so we were kindly given a lift into the station which was wonderful. Would recommend B&B Belalp to anyo

  I adored the historical feeling to this hotel. I hope they never "upgrade" it because I want it to feel like this forever. It was very close to the train station and the view was astonishing. I thought the bathroom was just fine although some might call it small. If you want to have a view right over Lake Geneva, you can put up with a "small" bath... cosa dice la gente » room! Hey, it has a shower, sink and toilet. I loved it. - The location is the best ever- on the Grand Rue right near the ferry terminal and bus out the front. Short walk from the station to the lift which takes you almost to the hotel. Large alcove in our room with chairs and table to sit and watch the view. The manager gave us a cup of tea on our second day as we arrived back after exploring Montreux and surrounds.(beautiful place!)

  This very charming hotel close to the Chateau de Chillon [a definite must visit] just outside Montreux [the frequent 201 bus takes about 5 minutes to get to the centre so parking is not an issue during the festival] is old and gracious with gardens and a terrace from the spacious lounge with views of the lake. Parking was just outside the hotel. ... cosa dice la gente » With a very nice breakfast, attentive staff and welcoming owner we really enjoyed our stay and would like to return for the jazz festival next year. - Service was great. It was a spur of the moment trip so we had no guide books, and the owner lent us her Rick Steves. On our second morning they remembered the table where we'd sat the previous day and had special cups and a straw for our 15-month-old. Her crib was well above average for a travel cot, compared to where we've stayed before. The price was excellent compared to other hotels in the area.
