Excellent - clean, comfortable and value for money. Close to the airport which makes it ideal for those like us who had to catch an early flight. Specious villa with two rooms and well equipped Kitchen and clean toilet/bathrooms. Swimming pool is a great thing for the hot weather. Kids love the pool.
Close to shops supermarket and the colombo city. Love the place and will definitely book the villa in our next trip. The owner was very helpful with our needs can contactable at any time day/night

Me spent 6 nights at Gomez Place and was very happy there. Each room has a safe, AC and fan. Rooms are spacious and clean. The swimming pool is great and there is a nice relaxing eating area. I liked everything about this boutique hotel, the staff were all friendly and attentive, the rooms were all comfortable, well fitted out and individually designed, the swimming pool clean and inviting, and the owner was very congenial and helpful to our local needs and for giving advice about travelling 'up country'. We were a family of four adults and a six month old baby arriving in SriLanka early hours of the morning and needed a place to put our heads down for a few hours before we headed south. We were greated at 2am by a very kind, helpful and friendly man. The rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable and a cot ready for the baby. The staff went out of their way to help us and provided a very healthy and wholesome breakfast.

NYBC is a typical Sri Lankan guesthouse. Deluxe room I stayed at had everything that is necessary - shower (though not always hot), AC (worked well), comfortable bed, nice balcony where breakfast was served. There is parking space and wifi also.
Guesthouse is located 2 min walk to the beach and many shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Negombo City is 7 min by tuk ruk (200-250 rupees).
Just do not expect luxury/European standards accommodation and you'll certainly have a wonderful stay!

The service was really great. It's a very kind family, they give you a lot of time and they help you with all your questions and needs. The breakfast is very nice and the atmosphere is also really nice. They make you feel very welcome. It's not a luxury hotel, but is is very gozy and nice decorated in Sri Lankan style, and not expensive at all.

I can recommend this hotel to everybody who arrived or leaving Sri Lanka. Hotel is only 15minutes from the airport. Staff in this hotel is very helpful. accommodation is clean and fully meet our expectation for one night when we was leaving country. I can't imagine to stay there longer because is middle of nowhere. -
