  Convenient for our trip North from Spain through France - and of course just right for starting up into the mountains after breakfast. The hotel at first seems to be in a bad location, but this is not so, it's a very short walk to the city centre and there's a little 'locals' bar serving set menu dinners for 10 euros including wine (bottle for two) and coffee just next door.   An excellent hotel with a greta atmosphere. The staff were all really helpful, they even tried to understand my terrible Spanish. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the bar / restaurant was the high point, an excellent atmosphere, good food although not haut cuisine, and a meeting point for locals and travellers alike. The waitress was partic... cosa dice la gente » ularly helpful, with a nice smile on her face, what more can you ask for? - This was our third stay at the Hostal and it never disappoints. It is excellent value for money and the staff are both pleasant and helpful. It is centrally located for access to all of the outstanding valleys and beautiful scenery. The bar is the 'hub' of local activity and has a great atmosphere. This hostal is an absolute find and we will return again.

There are not many places where you can get a room for the night with en-suite bathroom for 36 Euros. The room was well decorated to a high standard and very clean and comfortable.   Authentic Spanish,very traditional. Friendly staff if you try and speak their language - The fact they have a very secure enclosed garage for cars. Food was very good.
