  The staff was really nice and at our service all the time. It was very clean and the two bedroom room is relly big and has it's own bathroom, and the price for 6 days was excellent. The location of the hostel is very good, everything in the center of Madrid is nearby, in the walking distance, especially the most famous museums in Madrid. Your really cant complain too much when it's about 30 euros a night in this location. Facility is a bit outdated, but it is cheaper and yet still a lot better and more comfortable than most hostels in Europe of that price range. It is clean for the most part and staff is friendly. We got a three people room for 30 a night.

  I spent three week in hostel Estrella and I was really satisfied. The hostel was very clean and landlady was really nice lady. She don't speak english but she always try to help you. Hostel have the best location. Is next to Grad via and Plaza de Espana. If you want to party in the night you will love it the location. The commune shower room is private and always kept very clean.   A great place to stay for a visit to Madrid. Absolutely the perfect location. So close to Malasaña yet only 10-15mins walk from Sol. Stone's throw from Callao, and the metro to take you right to Retiro. The nicest staff I think I've ever met in a hotel. We were in a separate room 2 floors up from the hotel, which was really nice. The room itself w... cosa dice la gente » as perfectly clean, and all facilities were fine. Bed was comfortable, air conditioner worked very well. It had everything we could have wanted. The f - The hostal is just 2-3 minutes walking distance from the center of the city. The staff was speaking english and they were very friendly (they even called for us to book a flamengo night as we don't speak spanish).They offered us free coffee and cookies every day.They kept ur luggages safe and secure in the room for hours after the check out without paying anything. I strongly recommend this hostal if you want an economic,friendly,nice decorated place to stay in Madrid!

It is not in the midle of the touristic spot so you dont see 40+ years old tourists waddling around in their "comfortable" attire when you go outside of you hotel, instead, you are in the middle of the trendiest area. You can take express bus from the airport (24h) for only 5EUR and get off in Plaza Cibeles which is 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Y - We had a wonderful time in this beautifully designed and extremely well located hotel. Staff were very friendly, elegant and welcoming. Attention to detail is for sure one of the key principles of this hotel, starting with the welcome (someone opening the door for you, we got offered as well a glass of Champagne to welcome us, water was provided for free in the room, ...).
