  I stayed 2 nights and I got really good price like 11 and 13 euro(if you lucky,you can find on the letsbookhotel.com)..   The location was absolutely perfect for accessing the sites in the old town. Very easy to get to and from the airport via the aerobus as the apt is only 2 minutes walk away from Placa Catalunya. Apartrment was clean and the agent met us at exactly the time specified. Maid came every day and cleaned and left clean towels. Excellent value.   Staff were friendly, polite. Was simple and easy to check in, no fuss at all. The place was spotless all the time, daily service of beds being made never disturbed us. Shared bathroom was not an issue at all, as there was a toilet, shower room and bath/shower room right outside our door. Staff were all great to answer questions in English. Would stay again if ever back in the area.
