  I stayed with a friend in this hostel with a 11/10/13 - 17/10/13. The hostel has left the best impression! Staff are lovely, funny, friendly guys who always help and prompt!   For what we paid we were expecting so much less. Great place, surely going back if passing by the city. Only problem, no hair dryer. I didn't ask at the reception desk cause i was already under the shower when i noticed, they might offer some though, upon request, I don't know. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, very clean, have all necessary facilities such as lockers, table, chairs, pegs. Staff is really helpful: they can advise you good and cheap restaurants nearby and make a reservation for you. Continental breakfast for guests is served each morning.

  The hotel was excellent, clean and a very good price. Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Hotel is in the centre of Madrid so when you go behind the corner, you are immediately in the shopping streets. We highly recommend this hotel and will visit again when we'd go back to Madrid! The staff is very friendly and helful and rooms look like normal hotel rooms. The accomadations were really great in terms of price/quality. The location is the best you can have, being 5 minutes way from Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Gran Via, etc. Definetly the place to stay whenever we go to madrid.

  I didn't stay at the hotel that much as I spend most of my time outside. But what I can definitely say that the location is perfect and very very easy to reach (Sol Metro station), the room is very clean, big enough for 2 persons with an AC, which makes it comfortable. In total, both of us were happy to stay there. he The price is very good (50 euros/night/room) and perfect for low bud - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had been newly renovated and was kept extremely clean. There were two sets of double paned windows to keep out the street noise. The Museo del Jamon was right next to the hotel and is a great place to get breakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee or beer/wine. We would definitely return.

  I liked how the room that I got was exactly what was shown in the pictures on the web site. I also liked that the staff speak good English and that they are very helpful. Also, it is centrally-located and just a few minutes' walk from Callao Metro station. Location is perfect, 5 minutes to Sol station or Gran Via! Staff are sooo nice and helpful, giving me a lot of advice and help me resolve the problem of travel adapter! And also need to mention, the design and decoration of the room, surprised and considerate and sweet! With the price and location, I do think this Hostal deserves highly recommended.
