We have stayed in this hostel for two nights in late September. Absolute a value for money place to stay. Don't expect anything luxuary, it's plain and simple, exactly what you pay for. The hotel it is in walking distance off all the turistic attractions of Barcelona.
I consider this aspect as the best feature of this hotel.
The room was very clean, we had private bathroom and a balcony.
On all the streets surrounding the hotel there are restaurants, bars and shops.
The metro stop is at only 2 min walking distance.
After chek-out they permitted us to use their luggage storage room for the entire day.
Wi-Fi connection in the room was great.

I was staying for 3 noghts, and asked to not be woken up in the morning by the cleaner. I had my privacy, and got new towels every day while I was out. The staff at the reception was really friendly and polite! Very pationet when I asked for directiones:) I also like where the hotel is situated. Thanks for a good stay. I will be back!:) -

Exelent hotel for budget stay in Barcelona. Great stuff, especially a middle aged man on the reception, he gave us a city map, a metro map, explained how to get to the most popular turistic places and recommended some good restaurants. Breakfasts were very good, included a variety of products. Hotel description is 100% correct.

Very friendly owner took the time to give me useful information about the city. Very basic accommodation but spotlessly clean, comfortable and close to the metro and plenty of restaurants. Would stay again -

I am quite familiar with BCN and have been there a number of times. Renting hostels,hotels and apartments.
LOCATION
You are in center of the city. But in quite one.
HOUSE
Very typical historical building.
FACILITIES.
Entry, a numbers of clean WC, very good equipped kitchen and really huge terrace.
Kitchen has owen and all staff you may need.
Wi-Fi is good and 2 additional (free to use) PC with internet is very essential for more comfort work.

Location is fantastic - just on Ramblas, very close to the metro station (Drassanes) . Gothic quarter just around the corner, and so also Palacio Guell. Cathedral 10 minutes walk from the Hotel.
Staff was very helpful.
The room was quite spacious and reasonably clean.
Breakfast reasonably good.
Overall, I think that we got our money worth.

C'ero stato altre due volte. E' centralissimo, praticamente a pochi metri dalla famosa Rambla e dalla Metro. Lo consiglio a tutti in quanto è un hotel 2 stelle semplice, ma nello stesso tempo molto pulito e il costo è decisamente buono. - posizione, pulizia, gentilezza dello staff, rapporto qualità prezzo

Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10
M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I
wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room
is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as
long as you are in the middle of the action. The receptionists are
cool, kind and fun.

It was amazing, great view, awesome room (two balconies at a room of three beds), a nice and warm welcoming, situated in a very good location, very accessible from all points of view. We loved it, we recommend it and we are looking forward to return.

Very friendly and responsive staff, great location just off the Ramblas, cash machine outside the door, balcony as promised - a very small one, but this is typical Barcelona style, it was good enough for 2 people to sit and enjoy some cava + jamon serrano in the wee hours... Location is great, just off the Ramblas between Liceu Opera House and the Boqueria Market with a metro stop (line 3) 1 minutes walk from the front door. Close to the Gothic Quarter, lots of eating places and shops. A great bakery a couple of doors down.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Simple room (single bed with shower) but clean and quiet. Room facilities including a hair dryer and air con/heating unit which worked. Computer in common room with free wi-fi.
Would stay here again.
