We stayed for 2 nights and really liked this place. We were on 2nd floor room with balcony facing the road (nothing fancy on the road but good to get the sunlight in the room).
The beds were really comfortable, very clean bathroom, modern flat screen TV. Clean beds linen and towels provided.

First we came there was a lady in the reception who was not really friendly, but then we met another lady who was super friendly, she showed us everything and was really helpful, our room was very nice, cosy, it was a bit loud because the room was near the road and on the 1st floor, but it was not a problem for us, there is a nice kitchen you can make some food, tea or coffee, very convinient. There was even a printer, we needed it to print the tickets for the bus so was very helpful as well, a

I was staying for 3 noghts, and asked to not be woken up in the morning by the cleaner. I had my privacy, and got new towels every day while I was out. The staff at the reception was really friendly and polite! Very pationet when I asked for directiones:) I also like where the hotel is situated. Thanks for a good stay. I will be back!:) -

I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.

Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. This is a family-owned place that is very well maintained and has a congenial staff and atmosphere. For protracted stays the rooms are better suited for single occupancy where space allows a comfortable chair. But for short stays the twin (there are no doubles) occupancy is perfectly adequate. Excellent value for money. I was upgraded to a en-suite which was absolutely fine, quiet, clean and comfortable. Very good area with many shops, bars both cheap and expensive, very close to everthing and Metro round the corner if you are feeling lazy, plenty of buses. The area is lively but I would say safe.
