  I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, presente addirittura il frigobar (anche se vuoto), cosa che in altri hotel anche di famose catene, non c'era. Non in piena Rambla e quindi lontano dal rumore, ma a sole due fermate della metro da Plaça de Catalunya

There's two different guest houses in nearby buildings, one is rather communal backpacker style and the other is quieter. I was in the former (without knowing what I was getting into), and they were easy going about moving me into the latter. Good kitchen set up. The backpacker place was actually pretty nice for that sort of thing, just not what I was looking for (I'm a bit older than that now, and like my peace and quiet!).

  Staff were friendly and spoke English fluently. The room and facilities were very clean. We didn't think the room was small at all - we could fit both our large suitcases in without any troubles. Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful.   I would like to stress out how Tina and Jose have been nice, helpful and welcoming. If you want luxury and 5 stars hotel feeling: well: book one and pay the price for it but do not moan about this little B&B that is clean enough, convenient enough, run by nice people and cheap!!! Again, if you want luxury: pay the price tag that goes with it or enjoy this bugdet hotel where you will get all you need, even a bit of a/c whic - Hosts were lovely! Tina was very helpful. Provided us straight away with bus information a map and suggestions for places to visit. Room was big with a table and fridge. Breakfast was self serve with plenty to choose from. Excellent location for Gaudi tours and Guell Park. Everything we did was in walking distance. Easy to get train to airport from this spot too. Tina also provided a cheap laundry service which made things so easy! Beds were firm which was fine for us but may bother others.
