  It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists. The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30 minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable though a bit impersonal.   The room is inside a student residence and looked brand new. It was spacious with a nice bathroom and there was also a cooking area with kitchen utensils. There is a communal area on the ground floor where you can meet other travellers. The men on the reception were very friendly and helpful. It is easy to walk to the Guggenheim from the residence and it is also close to Abando station. - Close to train station and old town. Lovely helpful man on reception that spoke English and gave us information. Also moved us to a different room on request. Free wifi. This place is uni halls of residence, so rooms are small with single beds, but you have bathroom with shower +clothes line over it, and little kithchen area with cooking hob, microwave and fridge. We really value the small things like being able to make a cup of tea when you want one.

Highly recommended for top level comfort.
