  We liked the friendliness of the staff. We stayed the first two days and the last two days of our trip to South Africa and we were upgraded to a suite which was very much appreciated...we had stayed in the hotel five years ago and it was exactly as I remembered it and we will definitely be staying there on our return visit////breakfasts were also ... cosa dice la gente » super...it should be noted that we travelled with another couple ...mc gettigans...and this review is for all of us - The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful, always smiling, and solicitous without being in your face. I would definitely stay at the Portswood again

  A hotel like a garden of relaxation right at the bottom of Cape Town's stunning table mountain. The hotel is very charming with a big garden to wander around and a good pool area. The gym and Spa are very good. All rounded up by a good offer of food with the Myogo restaurant as a high end option with an excellent value for money 7-dish course. I noticed this time that the same staff are still working there. I think this says a lot about staff turnover. The staff are very positive always happy to hep, nothing is ever to hard. I had an issue with a pick up being late and it was dealt with quickly and the transport manager was waiting for me to apologise for the error. This hotel is a beautiful place and when you are here you are treated as family, a pleasure staying

The hosts willingness to assist and recommendations for day trips, restaurants, and spas was great!

The hotel is just minutes to walk from the restaurants and bars on Long Street. At the ground floor of the hotel we found a supermarket / sushi restaurant that came in quite handy. All in all,

  Sir , When I arrived at the Lagoon beach apartments, on Sat 11th May, they did not have a reservation for me, and could not identify your reference number. Luckily for me they were able to accommodate us at hhe last minute.   Of all the places I have stayed across the World (and there have been a lot!) I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere as special as this. It is a glass eyrie perched on the side of a mountain with THE most spectacular views over False Bay. The accommodation is sumptuous and you feel a million dollars staying here. We stayed in Sunrise (the suite)... cosa dice la gente » and, if I lived to be 100, I would never tire of the views from the floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was super-comfortab - Great location with stunning view over False Bay from the public area and rooms! During our stay in SA Aqua Terra was by far the best B&B. Rooms were very well-equipped and super-clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and useful advice from Jenny, our host. It is a pity we could only stay there for one night. But we will come back!

  The staff was especially helpful. The restaurant is five star. The preparation and presentation of the food is equivalent to any five star restaurant in my home town of San Francisco. Location is within a short walk of the airport and rental car locations. We were traveling on a Safari and needed to leave by 6 AM. Overall, an excellent experi - I really liked all the environmental information to encourage guests to recycle and use less energy and water. Room is spacious and well-designed, including the double functioning bathroom/toilet door! Breakfast was a well-stocked buffet with freshly cooked eggs. Friendly staff.
