  Room was large and nicely decorated. The large bed was very comfortable and the room had with lots of windows and a balcony. The hosts put in a lot of thought and effort into making Penelope's Guesthouse a wonderful place to stay at in Stellembosh. Breakfast was excellent. The hosts were charming. Free parking and wi-fi. The Guesthouse is loc - We loved our stay at Penelope's Guesthouse. Penelope is a great host, she recommend great vineyards for wine tasting and offered great assistance whenever needed. She offers a great full breakfast with fruit, croissant, yogurt, cheese, eggs, etc.. The breakfast is served on her garden terrace . It is very, very clean. The rooms are very large and well equipped. It was a pleasure to stay at her guesthouse and I will definitly return if ever I we have a chance to. I highly recommend this

From the welcome to the farewell she was always available for suggestions, ideas, destinations to vist and most of all present during breakfast.   The hotel and staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The room exceeded my expectation and would happily recommend it to anyone going to Cape Town. Not only did I organise my own accommodation but booked for 12 other people as well and they all were extremely happy with the facilities staff location and enjoyed their time there. If my request was not available at time of booking I would have liked to be told that and I would have booked elsewhere.   We really enjoyed our stay at Basse Provence. It is a beautiful house nestled amongst the vineyards and with a great view of the mountains. We felt very welcome there and the accomodation was clean and comfortable and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating and made sure we felt at home. The location is beautiful, surrounded by the winelands and the mountains and the accommodation itself was wonderful. Our room was spacious and under the thatched roof and the staff were very helpful.   We loved the tranquility and the setting. It was a most relaxing time. Maryliese was fantastic she did all she could to help and make our stay comfortable. We loved her and thought she did so well under loads of pressure. She deserves a medal or a R2000 raise in pay.
