  We have just returned home from a week skiing in the resort of Vogel and it was truly a marvelous holiday - thanks to the location and accommodation at the Alpik Apartments in Ukanc. I passed through this region once before in the summer time on a day trip to go white water rafting on the River Soca but I was so blown away with the views of Lake B... cosa dice la gente » ohinj it deserved a second trip back! On arrival we could not believe our eyes as the setting was like a 'winter wonderland' and the apartment was so - We spent a considerable amount of time searching for a suitable base close to the Vogel ski and snowboarding center. We were lucky to find Alpik apartments at a convenient location close to the center, and Lake Bohinj, both within 2-10 minutes from the apartment. Jaka is a very gracious host, who picked us up from the bus stop and helped us get around town. The location is peaceful and set in the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains.   Visited Mavrica on the start of June. Deep impression - we hope to come back next year: one of the best places in Alps I've visited.   Everything! The owner was very friendly and accomadating, helping us with any requests that we had. The apartment was so nice and clean as well as cosy in the evenings. Very quiet and situated in a lovely small little village. The 9.5 score in reviews is more than deserved!
