  The hostel is just off the main road but going through the doors, you are faced with a tranquil garden setting. There is also a meditation room. We made good friends with the other travellers and together enjoyed cooking and eating feasts in the evenings. David's bagels were a real treat - especially the chocolate ones! I have read other reviews and can't understand anyone having one complaint about this place. As far as budget stays in Peru, this is at the very top! We loved it here.

  First stop in the Sacred Valley. Melissa was very helpful in arranging transportation and tours. Beautiful spot. Very accommodating on the schedule.   After an overnighter from SFO to Lima then flight to Cusco, this place was a "Welcome to Peru". It's a small walk on a dirt path…the taxi can only take you so far. And it felt strange to ring the bell on door in the wall. But as we walked in, the garden was soooo welcoming. The owner was so nice and spoke good English. We didn't expec - Casa del Conde is a beautiful hotel set in its own gardens. The accommodations are in individual cabins and very spacious. There is a small living room, good sized bathroom (and the bathroom is beautifully tiled) and a big bedroom. Bed was v comfortable. Tea and snacks were available in the room which was a nice touch. The breakfast was ample with fruit yogurt eggs bread and cofe. Quiet and peaceful and an excellent choice for anyone visiting PIsac
