From my original booking which was originally one night, they were very accommodating in that I asked to extend my stay and then cancelled the extra night (a mistake in hindsight).

So cute with a decor suited to the surroundings. Our room was on the river with sitting area outside on the river even though we had to climb out the window to get to it. Also, the room and bathroom were spacious for 3. Location perfect in middle of everything.
Ollanta was our favorite town in the Sacred Valley because it retains the look and feel of the past, is small in size and surrounded by beautiful ruins in view from the town.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, with a nice garden, terrace, and mountain views. Jonathan was very helpful in arranging transportation for us to and from Cuzco, and to neighboring local sites. We were also able to leave luggage at the hotel while we went to Machu Picchu, which was very helpful. -

I had a room on the river side and it was lovely. The hostel is actually
located really close to both the train station and the bus to Machu
Picchu. To find it, leave the train station and take your first left
along the market, you should see a bridge to cross and you will see

Location near ruins and square and old town, as well as friendly owners. Breakfast was at a nice cafe beside the hotel. Easy walk down to train station for Machu Picchu.
Ollantaytambo is an excellent place to go to when flying in to Cusco from Lima, as can visit ruins there, and catch several trains to Machu Picchu, while acclimatising before going back to Cusco.

Spacious room, very clean, great gardens, each room has a patio or balcony with lounge chairs to enjoy the view; great food at the restaurant; the farm lunch done in an earth oven; very helpful and friendly staff; perfect place to stay to do Machu Picchu (spend the night here and take the first train in the morning, still leaves plenty of time to explore and will be so much more comfortable)

Upon arrival l was received by a very friendly staff members. I travel quite a bit and l can tell when the staff members really take their job seriously and want to make a difference in one's stay.Tatiana, the manager, is suuuuper nice and always tries to accommodate/meet traveler's needs. The entire experience was extremely positive. We stayed in Ollantaytambo
and took the 6:40 train to Machu Picchu, which made the train ride much
shorter and less expensive. The new owners of Casa de Mama have a customer-
friendly, service-oriented attitude. For example, although breakfast
officially starts at 7:00, they got up early and made breakfast for us
(which was very good) before we left for the train at 6:15. I would
highly recommend staying there.

We loved the grounds and our room! There were beautiful gardens just outside our room with a nice sitting area outside, plus a great view of the ruins. I don't think every room has this but the grounds can definitely be enjoyed by everyone. The room was clean and nice (with a tree in the wall) and the bed was comfortable.

We stayed for one night in the matrimonial room number 5. Room is quite small, but clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Heater on request without further charge and necessary, as it was very cold at night. The great thing is that just in front of the room is a veranda with table and chairs and view to the ruins. Breakfast was outstanding served as buffet: cereals , scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, pancakes, fresh juice, joghurt, different kinds of fresh fruit. Location is 5 min walk to plaza de armas

Sauce was a fantastic place to situate ourselves for the sacred valley and an awesome location to launch a visit to machu picchu, so close to the ollantaytambo train station with awesome views of the local ruins and literally metres from the main square. The rooms were comfortable and warm with rustic charm, and the owners were incredibly friendly

Hostal Sauce is an excellent, small family run hotel. Our room was very
comfortable and had a great view of the Ollantaytambo ruins from the
window. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was
good, and the day we went to Machu Picchu, they had packed food for us
when we left at 5:30am to catch to train.
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent place to stay! Husta and Wilbur are a superb host and hostess.
The room was top notcc...built out of original Inca ruins and the hotel
is feet from the ruins of Ollantaytambo. They recommended an outstanding
restaurant on Plaza de Armas. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and
plentiful...walked into Husta squeezing the the fresh oranges

We loved everything about Tikawasi Valley. The reception upon arrival
was great as the host was waiting up for us ( we arrived very late )
Room was nice and very clean and beds were warm and comfortable and
there was a heater in the room which was a bonus. The walls of our room
were made from original Inca remains. The location of Tikawasi Valley is
amazing as you can see Inca ruins from their balcony. The breakfast was

I have rarely felt so personally welcome at a guest house than I did at
Picaflor Tambo.
The house is located right at the bottom of the Pinkaluna ruins – in fact, we could see them from our bed. The rooms are huge, spotless and have everything we could need, including a flask of hot water and tea – a lovely touch.

First, it's right in the heart of Ollantaytambo, a village of Inca
design that has been continuously inhabited for a long time! It's a
newly established small place but our second storey room was large and
had good windows. There was plenty of hot water and good pressure. The
whole place is fresh and clean and decorated beautifully with local art
and textiles. There's a little covered central patio where an
attractive offering was laid out for Pachamama, the earth mother.
