WE loved the reception we received from Thomas - he was sincerely helpful, cheerful and friendly. We asked for an extra heater and he brought it over almost immediately. He offered information and helpful suggestions eg when we asked about fishing and was available at all times. We also loved the view from the cabin - fabulous! -

Facilities are also good, free parking, wifi works well, coin laundry. You can rent motor boats or kayaks to explore the breathtaking fjord. Highly recommended !

The owner & staff are wonderful and very interesting. Great conversation with them & with other guests. The setting is spectacular, in a quiet way. Because it is small and a little hard to find, you won't find roaming busloads of tourists. The facilities are simple, not luxurious - but very comfortable and perfect for the environment.

You won't get the comfort of five stars hotel there. But I think it's a combination of landscape and solitude that gives the place a touch of magic. Don't make just a one night stop as we did passing through. As soon as you leave you'll feel sorry you did. If I could give you some advice, that's what we would do:

We arrived with a car. Without would it be difficult to get out to Sveggvika.

The location is incredible. Such beauty all around you! We stayed in an apartment with a porch that overlooked the fjord and village of Geiranger - so amazing - and it was very cute and clean. The woman who runs the place was a delight and so friendly and helpful, so much so that you want to give her your money. I would definitely recommend. -
