Below us was the famous Fish Market and the Vagen Waterway, with only a short walk to the Floyen Mountain funicular.   It was a good hotel, close to the centre and that is wat I wanted when Iwas looking for a hotel. Loved the internet access - It is close to the center and very hand to use during the weekend out with friends.I also like the idea to have breakfast outsie the door to be consumed when I feel like it.

I had to depart at 4:45 am and the staff made up an adequate breakfast for me. Comfortable hotels that are good value for money are rare in Bergen except, I assume during the dead of winter; so I was happy to be at the Park. Breakfast was not gourmet but quite satisfactory. - Hotel Park Bergen's rooms are comfortable, though the bathrooms are small and really only accommodate one person at a time. However, they offer a very nice full Norwegian breakfast for the cost of the room, which isn't always provided at all Norwegian hotels, and coffee, tea and snacks are offered 24/7 in the breakfast room, which is very nice for travelers.

Too often nowadays the check-out time is 10am. Free biscuits and coffee/tea/hot chocolate from the vending machine in the lounge. The lounge/breakfast room were beautiful.
