  Superb location ! The room was extremely pleasant, with two armchairs beside the window, making for a great relaxing time, as the view out into the garden was beautiful. The room facilities were excellent, and I would say it was one of the best rooms we have experienced anywhere in the world..and we have traveled extensively !   Location at Te Anau - fantastic area! Had a view of the mountains and a small balcony. Reception allowed us a very early check-in without asking, which was very kind. Stay here prior to, or after a day trip to Milford Sound. We wish we'd had two nights here. Although it's a dated hotel that needs restoration, the price is hard to beat. The journey from Te Anau is one of the best in NZ Quite spectacular Forget Queenstown and the bus tours stay in Te Anau its the only way to visit Fiordland.

  Big enough room in a quiet town. TV had a DVD player which was good. Walking distance from the centre of town which has some nice restaurants, cafés and bars.   It is very conveniently located near Manipouri to be able to catch the Doubtful Sound boats and in fact arranges and has discounts on the Doubtful Sound and Milford Sounds trips (for some but not all trips). The staff is exceptionally friendly, cheerful and helpful. One staff member even stayed late so we had time to consult our schedule to see ... cosa dice la gente » if the overnight trip to Doubtful was feasible, canceled our second night booking with their site with a small fee ($17) as he really seemed more inte - we rent and booked 2 bedrooms apt . we notified that we would be there 5 adults and 2 children. the rooms were as expected. 1 room with 3 single beds and another bed room with double bed. and they prepared the sofa bed in the living room to very comfy . i recommend this apartment to whom want to go holiday with family. dont worry they have all necesarry things to cook . laundry is also available ib other sidebof the apArtment.
