Rasa Ria is not a cheap resort but it is a lovely one. The rooms were well thoughtfully designed for the traveler - for once the room lighting was such that you could actually see in the room. I have been to many 5 star hotels but this is definitely one of the best for a family vacation. It has two wings - Ocean wing and Garden Wing. Both have a beautiful pool. The garden wing pool has a very nice slide for the kids. There are 3 restaurants which serve really nice food. We wanted to extend by 1 day but there was not a single room available!

We arrived just after having stayed in the jungle at Sepilok (which was after days of diving and a long bus journey), so we really needed somewhere clean and comfortable. The Sheraton Sandakan far exceeded my expectations on both fronts. It was extremely good value for money.

The staff at this hotel, did much more than expected. I had a birthday cake delivered to my room a very pleasant surprise. Especially Stella.What ever we asked they went out of their way to help us. The best service we have ever had from all staff, in any place we stayed in Malaysia for 4 weeks, could not fault service, type of room & cleanliness.

The location was user friendly, the proprietor was very helpful and oblidging. The apartment although aged was very clean and plenty of space. Although we did not cook there was enough equipmentprovided to facilitate it if necessary. Great value for money

Staff here were excellent in particular the concierge service (special mention to Sylver and Philip for going out of their way to be helpful and friendly). The Le Meridien is a nice, well presented hotel, the rooms are clean / nice and the pool area is fun and very well maintained.

Everything was fantastic.
For such a large hotel the staff were extremely friendly.
The service was excellent..
We loved the hotel location and the location of the gym looking over the sea would have to be the best location for a gym we have been in.
We also really enjoyed the sundowner with the staff on the Wednesday evening.
The f old at the restaurant was of a high standard and the service we could not fault.
Thankyou for a superb stay!

The view from the balcony is amazing. You really feel like you are in the jungle. At the same time, the room is clean and comfortable. The semi-outdoor bathroom is great.

We had a small balcony in our room with the most amazing view. It was so still an tranquil with just the sounds of the jungle. Absolutely beautiful! I also loved the shower room as it was part open to the jungle and there's nothing like showering in the open air. I loved it!!

Staff were friendly. Our children were upgraded to an executive room free of charge. Our room was lovely with a view of the pool and the sea. - The facilities are pretty good.

Even though it is an apartment but they do daily housekeeping which I do not get when renting apartments in other places. This gives me a good feeling everyday when I come back from touring outside ... Clean room with clean towels.
And the facilities is as per what it's stated in the website. Very good and satisfying. -
