Compared to other Five star hotels in Tokyo that I have stayed in, Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo is the best so far. It has a wonderful and convenient location, a luxurious and comfortable room. The service levels were the best, every staff catered to my every problem, they even accompanied me to the train station to help me out.
I would recommend this hotel to any traveler visiting Tokyo!

Hotel has a nice comfortable and clean rooms. It is located about 15 minutes walk from Asakusa subway station or Kuramae station. Tourist attractions are within easy reach via subway or walking distance. Sky Tree tower is only about 15 minutes walk, Sumo Museum is 10 minutes' walk away. You can prepare your meal in the room, which has an electric kettle, microwave oven, stove. It was our second stay at the hotel and we're gonna always be satisfied. The room rate was very good.

Very close to the station and a short walk to JR. Breakfast was simple and tasty, but not great. Shower pressure and amenities were good and appreciated. Staff was kind to help me find a bar I was looking for but ended up sending me the wrong direction. Be advised there is Kamata and NISHI-kamata. I learned the hard way. check in was fast.

The location is great. It's really near to the JR train Okachimachi station, and just minutes walk to A8 exit from subway. Once you get to the underground, the signs are helpful and intuitive in getting to the stations you wanted. The breakfast is provided, which is quite a surprise. Excellent service by the staff. Especially at the concierge. We missed our airport limosine and got a full refund from the concierge. I was beyond shocked. Only in Japan I could get such honest and sincere treatment. Location is superb. Right in the heart of Shinjuku towards the east exit of the Shinjuku station hardly 5 min walk. Highly recommended for people who wish to enjoy Tokyo night life and shopping and also easy access to other parts of the city.
