  The hotel has excellent public and private onsen. Food was great and staff very helpful and friendly. It was s bit on the expensive side but then we paid for quality. From the moment we drove to the hotel driveway to checking out, the service provided was par excellent! I didn't expect to see my favourite blazer again so it was a nice surprise! - after travelling in Japan for a week, it is nice to have some real english speaking staff! Ample of parking spaces at only 500 yen per day free wifi overall one the best hotels I stayed in Japan so far - After a minor problem we where conducted to a suberb room, extremely well conceived, a room not only big, but with a wonderful view from the living room and the bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished, we had breakfast in the morning sitting in a very nice veranda. An Hakodate is a place to visit. Finally, the hotel is extremely well located, in between the station and the historical district.

  It is a very cosy, comfortable hotel. The onsen is superb with great view of the city. The massage is also great, skillful staff and great value for money compared to other 5-star hotels that we have stayed in Japan. Hence, enough space for play which is rare in Japan. The staff are friendly and helpful although only speak basic English. - Th location is good, walk to Mt Hakodate rope way is around 20 mins. The hotel itself is next to the red brick warehouses.
