Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip
through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly
renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his
wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly,
telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes
and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo
Spirito was fairly good value for city.

-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

It is a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street back in the smaller canals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is also near the main hospital of Venice, which was an unexpected blessing for us during our stay.

Location - perfect (near San Marco square, but on the small quiet street).
Room - clean and cozy.
Bathroom - big, light and clean, clean and clean (hairdryer, toiletries, towels are included).
Breakfast - very good (choice of yoghurts, meat, cheese, bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, etc.)
Owner - intelligent, polite and friendly person with great sense of humor.
All together this will make your stay in this hotel perfect.

This is a wonderful B&B on the main walk from the train station. The
sister's who own the property are very friendly and helpful.
Although you are on a main street the windows are totally sound proof so
unless you open them the room is really silent. It is easy to find if
you take the Vaporetta to S. Marcuola (the Casino stop) You just walk
through to the main street then left and watch for the numbers. There is
a small brass plate with the name. Depending on your room the wireless
might be

location location location, this has to one of the best situated hotels in Venice, close to the station main bridge and the water-bus/taxi stops the staff were very helpful especially the concierge from the sister hotel as he redirected us back to the Abbazia deluxe after we had walk past the entrance (which is easy to miss) if you stay there, turn up the alley and the door is directly on the left, we had one of the rear rooms on the 1st floor and we couldn't believe how quiet it was all in all

Good location close to Rialto Bridge and the Pescaria Market. San Silvestro waterbus stop is also nearby . You don't have to cross bridges on the way to this stop.

Excellent hotel location for walks in Venezia: most of tourist attractions can be simply reached. At the same time hotel is situated in quiet nice corner near Grand Canal, so crowds of tourists do not seriously disturb. It is wonderful breakfast in the hotel. We had sufficiently large room for family equipped by neccesary infrastructure (in paticular - by conditioner, which is vital for Venice in Sommer). The staff was so friendly and helpful, it felt like home to our Children instead of a hotel. The family room was large and comfortable, and it's a 5 minute walk to San Marco square.
