real italian food and not the tourist food you get around the Tower.

Michele, the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very helpful on advising us how to reach the main sights and suggested and booked a great restaurant for us. The following morning after a really good breakfast Michele drove us to the airport. I don't think I've ever had such service.

The host, Michele, was so enthusiastic about his property and Pisa. The property was superb, it had the best facilities of all establishments we visited on our tour of Italy, even tea & coffee making in the room and a computer. Motion sensing lights in the public areas, thoughtfully placed lighting in the rooms, and the bathrooms featured Michele's photographs in ceramic tiles - beautiful. he also listened to our plans and made helpful suggestions to maximise the time in Pisa. The service at B&B dei Cavalieri was welcoming and the value for money was very reasonable. The interior was cosy and styled perfectly to reflect Italy.
The accommodation was within good walking distance from the train station, however, at first we found it difficult to find. On reflection I should have printed of the exterior picture to remember what it looked like. The breakfast was a fantastic spread.

Great host and breakfast and perfect location for driving around. Just 5 minutes from Pisa on car (although, Lucca and mountains around are more interesting than Pisa).
Also, there is an awesome wolf living on premises. Don't worry, he is afraid of humans, so they keep him completely separate from guest area. You won't even notice him probably.

La calda accoglienza di Marta defita personalmente ad ogni ospite e le squisite colazioni nel bel giardino ogni giorno con diverse torte dolci e salate, marmellate fatte in casa e salumi locali. La casa è molto ben ambientata con tantissimi oggetti di viaggi lontani reali o anche immaginari. La posizione è strategica tra Lucca, Pisa, Firenze la Versilia e il duo mare ma nella massima tranquillità di un paese di campagna

Anche se la prima impressione potrebbe trarre in inganno, la struttura internamente sembra appena ristrutturata ed è molto ben tenuta. Favolosa la colazione in terrazza e la vista di Pisa dalla camera.

Clean, nice hotel, which is a very nice and classic Italian country house with perfect view, right under a castle, in a typically italien village. The owner, the host was very very friendly and helped us immediately if we had a question, gave good advices what should we visit. You can reach easy Lucca, Pisa, Florence, with a stack of "must see" attraction. In the other way You can find beatufil nature, with mountains, small roads.
