Cosa dice la gente
This guest house was exactly we searched! The bedroom was clean and the bed very comfortable.
Bathroom was clean too and some towels was available in the bedroom.
Irish breakfast was very good
Catherine was very friendly & helpful ( always smiling :) ) and a great councellor for anything we wanted to know about transports or the city.
The house is about 15 min. walk to O'Connell Street and 2 minutes to a bus stop.
We would come back again for sure!. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
The service and friendliness of the staff was fantastic. Particularly of Catherine, the owner. She has to be one of the most welcoming people we've met. She put a lot of effort into meeting our specific needs and conversation with her was great as well. You probably won't find much better service and care around. It is excellently located just north of the city so it is a 15 minute walk from the buzz of the night life, but located in quiet area of town.
Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast in bed was so nice in the morning too. Catherine was very helpful with parking outside the door and anything else we wanted to know. Location was ideal for us as we were up for a match in Croke Park and it is midway between the park and O'Connell Street so not far to walk after a few too many! Definitely would stay here again.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast included was good value of money. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and tea/coffee making facilities available. Walking distance from the city centre and near the bus stop to the airport. I would definitely recommend this place.
Very friendly and helpful staff who great you with a smile. (Thank you for everything Catherine.) The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the city center and from most tourist attractions. I truly enjoyed my stay there and recommend it. It is a beautiful place to stay. The people that run it are so nice and very hepfull. Unfortunitly we only stayed there on Sunday 24th July, as my sister's treatment wasnt a sucess so she was discharged on Monday 25th July and sent home, so we came home with her.
.
Staff are very freindly and helpful, room was a triple but could actually sleep four, breakfast was delivered to the room. Showers were great, plenty of hot water!! Ideal base to explore Dublin at a very reasonable price.
The free parking was good and the location due to the close proximity to the distance to the city centre made this the perfect choice for us. I would stay there again if in the same situation.
I liked especially the friendliness of the proprietors and the atmosphere. The room we had was clean and pleasant. I'd come gladly again and again because of the very Irish ambience.
This place I liked all the attention of the owner of the hotel, the breakfast that will take you to the room, cleanliness and safety. made me feel at home.Quiet location - Very handy bus link to the airport (stop at a couple of metres away) - 15 mn walk to City centre - Good value.
We'll come back for sure!.
Reasonable price for lodging. Clean. The hostess was friendly and
helpful. Light breakfast brought to your room. Bus service nearby. Nice
neighborhood.
Excellent personal service. Breakfast was given directly to the room, but it was scheduled to a particular time (between 8-9).
The staff were fantastic and made everyone who walked in feel completely relaxed and welcome.
very special and great location.
Extremely friendly and lovely owner - very welcoming and helpful
Bedrooms and facilities very clean and tidy
Breakfast in bed!.
An excellent budget hotel withing a hurl of Croke Park - you don't get breakfast in bed in many hotels at this price!!.
The staff and owners were very helpful and friendly, the breakfasts good and the room clean and comfortable.
very big and confortable single room, friendly staff, great breakfast and very good value for money.
Clean, centrally located location, personable and accommodating staff.
friendly staff
good location
easy to find
close to city center
cheap.
Very homely, friendly staff, great breakfast, perfect for the price.
Friendly staff, accommodating, flexible, good value, helpful.
very nice staff, good location, nice and cosy room.
Very friendly staff, nice breakfast.
staff very helpful.
Friendly staff.
price, staff.
1. We liked that the Hotel was in walking distance from a hop on hop off
stop that gave easy access to Dublin city centre.
2.Also easy to reach from the airport
3. Staff are lovely and very helpful
4. Breakfast brought to your room every morning!.
We were looking for somewhere cheap and basic but clean to stay and this place met our expectations. If you don't mind walking it's about a 20 min walk to temple bar and another 5-10 minute walk to Dublin's High Street.
The location. In 20 minutes walking you can get to the city center. The
bed was comfortable and good room.
1. breakfast was brought to the room.
2. possibility to park the car.
3. location close to the center.
The staff were great. The breakfasts were good. Very helpful staff.
Location, room and common spaces clean,.
Very friendly staff, warm welcome.
Location.
The only positive factor I can think of is the location.
There was a party going on in the neighbourhood during the night. The 5€ Irish breakfast option was not as good as I hoped - meaning not the value of money.
Room furniture could do with updating.
The location isn't really in the nicest neighborhood though it was quiet & safe enough.
Shared baths are hard to get used to.None.
Lock on shower door (unisex bathroom) did not work.
It could be a better area, but it is not far of the city centre. I had a problem with the shower, but It was rapidly solved and I think it was just bad luck.
the noise in the morning from the fire doors repeatedly swinging shut while breakfast was being delivered to the rooms shook the whole hotel. It's fine if you don't want a lie-in but if you do the noise is too much.
The rain and wind outside!.
Nothing really.
General area quite run down.
modernization if being picky.
Our mattress could do with updating and hairdryers in the bedroom will
be fab, however I have to be fair did not report this to the owner and I
think they would have taken this on board if I did.
If you are long limbed then probably wouldn't recommend staying here as the room we stayed in was tiny and the bathroom and toilet cramped together. However we weren't expecting luxuries.
You don't have a reception, so it's difficult to have
information or tips from the staffs.
1. breakfast was limited and always the same.
2. shower did not work properly.
3. this part of region is dirty and noisy.
The room we had, an adult could not sit properly on the toilet as there was not enough leg room between the toilet and shower encloser. Also, the shower encloser was too small for even an average size adult.
acoustic isolation absent with respect to other room and hallway.
A little bit outside of the downtown core, but not too much.
Stay away! Budget places are budget, but the owners here simply
don't care. The heat in the room was off during the day and barely
on at night. Owner told us her dogs didnt bark at night, but they did.
View of a junk pile in their back yard. Easy to find better budget
places than this!.
The hotel attendant simply refused to issue the invoice for my stay!!!! I've tried many times, both directly with the hotel and through the letsbookhotel.com site, but I was turned down. Disgraceful!!!
On top of that you need to watch out for the temperature in the bathroom - just above zero...
