Bernadette and Padraigh are the best hosts in the Dublin area. We considered that the location (halfway between the airport and downtown - 10 minute trip) was perfect. This adorable place was so nice, clean and comfortable. The owners were just a delight. Our room was wonderful and comfortable. Location was perfect just outside of town about a few miles and easy access to the bus system into town center. Breakfast was amazingly great and filling!! I would recommend to everyone to stay here if you want a quieter setting but still be very close to town center. Also they have a beautiful outside garden area and the flowers are just beautiful.

The staff were very helpful, the hotel was a bit old fashioned, but clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. The hotel was also in a very good location, excellent transport and the pool area was very good. - Very nice and helpfull personel. This guesthouse is an excellent value for the money! It's located in an upscale neighborhood, very close to local pubs and restaurants, and just minutes away from city center by bus - (as well as Dublin Airport - which I was very grateful for, as I had to make an early morning flight out.)
On a couple occasions, I chose to walk to city center, and I found the walk to be very enjoyable.

We had an overnight stay with an early morning airline departure. Willow House is convenient to the Dublin Airport.
There are numerous places to eat and easy bus access to the city and a short walk to Croke Park.
