Cosa dice la gente
Beautiful new hotel. Clean. Huge rooms. Nice views. A la carte breakfast
in huge portions, and generous top-ups if requested. Staff at breakfast
area really, really nice and pleasant. Pool of good size and nice and
clean. Shuttle service to areas around Ubud provided free by hotel if
vehicle is available. Evening tea provided complimentary! This is really
a first, at least for me. Nice Balinese cakes served with coffee or tea.
Portions not overwhelming, just for snacking, but good enough. The c. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
WE loved the staff , the room with the view on the rice field seeing the farmer working his land.
We loved the breakfast , afternoon tea and dinner .
There was a big variety of healthy choices of food.
Staff was very accommodating and very friendly and just lovely
Treated us like family
WE loved the king size bed
we loved the location , easy to walk around town ,
Transport was provided to local area, we even were collected from the restaurant we had dinner as well.
We still have good feelings .
The Alaya Ubud is absolutely 5*! The Hotel is located very Central in Ubud so you have a feeling of being integrated in the daily life. Nevertheless it is a great place to relax and spend time at the beautiful pool and spa area. We stayed only for two nights and had dinner there twice - both very good and way above standard (even the filet was perfect). Since the hotel is very new everything is modern and especially the rooms are super comfy with even comfier beds. All in all I can only recomm.
Everything - absolutely everything was perfect. The staff were brilliant and extremely nice and helpful. The room was fantastic, the breakfast was impressive - juice, coffee/tea, fruit plate, pastry basket and a main course for each person - sets up for the day. Loved every minute of our stay at the Alaya and the shuttle around Ubud was really efficient with pick up and drop offs. thank you so much Alaya! We will definitely visit Ubud and stay here again.
huge well appointed rooms. Lovely bathroom with a giant free standing tub. Loved the view of the rice paddies,. Very nice breakfast included. Several combination options. Lots of food. All of it good and nicely prepared. Hotel driver proved free to dinner massage etc if available and not doing an airport run. Hotel is quiet and off the main street but within easy walking distance of most things.Pool setting is lovely. Also enjoyed dance performance.
-First class stuff, very friendly and helpful -just dont try to find a
better restaurant in the town!!! The hotel restaurant is absulutely
stunning!!!and had the best food of our travel! If you dont try, you
will just be disappointed other places! Prices are average! Offered also
a fantastic afternoon tea/coffee for free -great swimming pool and
superbe large bath tub -easy free internet access -best hotel on our
trip in Indonesia.
Fantastic location. Close to the monkey forest and 20 min walk to Ubud Market area. Beautifully designed hotel. Super friendly and attentive staff. The view of the rice fields from the room and private balcony was stunning. The rooms were very nicely designed and appointed. Food at the restaurant was excellent. Pool area had nice lounge chairs. Everything was thought of in design and execution. Can't say enough about this Hotel.
This hotel is ideally positioned for the monkey forest, shops, restaurants, super-market and right opposite taxi office. The palace and local market is a 15-20 minute walk away if you can resist the many distractions en-route! The staff at the hotel were the best - always smiling and friendly, the décor simply beautiful and clean with a very natural feel. We came away with lots of ideas! Most of all we loved our stay here.
We were upgraded to a room facing the rice paddies. The decor was modern and trendy. Absolutely loved the bed - it was the largest, most comfortable bed ever. The bathtub was amazing, I could stay in there for hours. The shampoo, conditioner, bath and shower gel smelt divine (lime/lemongrass). Staff are friendly, polite and accomodating. Would definitely stay there again!.
Fenomenal level of service, staff attitude and ambient. We were there in the beginning of june, out of season, and there weren't many guests, so the ambient was quite intimite. Almost alone at the poolside for example. Also the spa centre in the hotel is excellent. And also the breakfast was an experience we haven't had anywhere else before.
This is a fine hotel, spacious clean quiet rooms in a beautiful setting. Shops and the Monkey Forest are very close, and the staff are very attentive. There is an obvious strategy to make everything as right as possible, and unless one is looking for 5 stars and more, (and prepared to pay the price), it's highly recommended.
We had a very good experience with the Alaya resort. The room was nice, the breakfasts were tasty, and the staff were friendly. I really liked the second floor room we had near the front of the resort, with a balcony that offered a great view ofthe rice patty next door and the Mountain (when this was not hidden by cloud).
Fabulous location. Beautiful facilities. Very comfortable beds & pillows. Pro staff. Complimentary shuttle service incredible. Great breakfast. Lovely pool. Stunning spa (pricey). Design & outlook perfect. Peaceful, surprisingly, as in central ubud. My 18 yr old daughter & I loved our stay. Better than maya.
Everything! Hotel was beautiful, super clean and in the perfect location right next to Yoga Barn and Zen Spa. Food was great and the staff were so so kind and friendly. Made our stay so enjoyable. Pool is beautiful too and gets lots of sun. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Ubud!.
Location is great, close to the main street, good restaurants around,
Yogo Barn next to the door, Arma gallery in walking distance. View is
fantastic, rice filed just outside of your balcony and you can see the
sunrise with volcano in early morning. The spa is also nice and deluxe.
This is not a bow-wow kind of resort, all I can say is that the price is fair for the stay. Decent hotel, excellent location, comfy rooms. The staff is as friendly and accomodating as in any other hotels in bali. The live performance in the restaurant every weekend is to-die for.
Best staff ever! They were so friendly and helpful. The Resort is in a really nice location and has an awesome design. Everything is new and made with passion. Loved the daily fresh fruits in my room and the restaurant.
Best place to stay in Ubud! Will come back again!.
Very friendly and helptul staff.
Perfect location to visit Ubud (by foot) and surroundings (rental car, driver, etc)
Recent hotel with nice and elegant design, quiet, big rooms.
Hotel's breakfast and restaurant also very good. We enjoyed a lot our 6 days stay in Ubud.
Staff service is vvvvv good Breakfast is ala carte but you can still ask
for more Location is not that bad just that ubud is not like kuta, more
quiet peaceful,v different from kuta. Spa is average, for an award
winning standard, ask them to give discounts.
Alaya Resort is the best hotel to stay if you decide to stay in Ubud. The view is amazing, the pool even though it is small it is never crowded. Very close to Sacred monkey forest. I couldn't find anything that I didn't like about Alaya Resort.
The staff were simply outstanding. Attentive but never overbearing. The food was excellent. The poached eggs were consistently great! Small but nicely laid out hotel with all rooms overlooking the pool and fileds. Location was superb.
Huge rooms, lovely comfy bed with a large balcony over looking the rice fields. The hotel is in a good location around the corner from the monkey enclosure. Hotel food was really good and resto staff were lovely.
Superb...a class act.
bed to die for...beautiful room
room service breakfast, amazing..gourmet coffee Danish pastries straight from the oven cute little bottles of
yogurt YUM. all in all a beautiful resort.
Right behind the Monkey Forest. 10 minutes walk to the main road. Very remarkable design. Stylish wooden constructures all over the place. Nice seimming pool that is totally suitable for a morning fit.
This place is just simply amazing. Lovely rooms, with nice view, good breakfast. Balinese hospitality is always on the top, but this place takes it a step further. The whole place just blows you away.
The property is amazing, especially the day spa. you need to book spa treatments early as they are really popular. the pool area is small but gorgeous. The restaurant is top notch as are the staff.
The hotel's location is amazing, you can enjoy Ubud's atmosphere from a structure that combines perfectly Balinese tradition and modern comfort. The staff is caring and the food is delicious!.
Staff was very helpful, free shuttle around town, room was spacious and very clean. A new hotel this year. The spa was wonderful and the massage was well worth the money.
Very good location and facilities . Clean and close to Ubud's main street and markets . Rooms are spacious and in brief the hotel provides a good value for money stay .
Great location! Very close to the monkey forest, and the two main streets of Ubud. The room was super too. Huge beds, nice open shower and beautiful bath tub.
Super friendly staff, perfect central location with beautiful views, amazing spa treatments, the best breakfast you could ask for and huge comfortable beds.
Loved the spa - treatments were excellent. Found the service at hotel very good and staff very caring - loved the complimentary afternoon tea - delightful!.
Everything, the staff at the Alaya were were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, they played a big part in making our week at Ubud so enjoyable.
great location; clean and good hotel; good restaurant; good menu; great staff; near yoga barn; visual attractive; big room; all rooms with views etc.
A fantastic service, all stuff are extremly helpfull and friendly!!! Nice, new and quiet place. Very clean! Breakfast is also good and enough!.
Spacious and quiet room with views over an active rice field. Good and free WiFi in the entire resort. Complimentary afternoon tea and snacks.
This is a brand new hotel and we loved everything!
The breakfast ( the Eggs Benedict were the best), afternoon tea, the rooms and location!.
Great location and excellent facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good spot in Ubud for shopping and dining nearby.
Staffs ate friendly and helpful with all our requirments. Room is very clean and bed is comfy. Rice field view is very nice too.
Very nice rooms, wonderfull view on rice field. Centrally located in Ubud with all the amenities (restaurants, temples, spas).
Bathroom in the rooms are beautiful
Breakfast are just perfect
Location of room close to the swimming pool was nice.
Amazing place, very nice location. Five star restaurant, afternoon tea and breakfast.
Staff very kind and helpful.
Overall a beautiful resort, excellent on all levels and wonderful staff and location. Breakfast was amazing!.
Amazing staff, great location, stunning rooms and excellent restaurant! Best place we stayed all over Bali.
Very good breakfast, nice view, very good location, good restaurant, staff was great! Highly recommended.
It was in a great location for walking to shops and restaraunts.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Great views.
I highly recommend Alaya. The staff and facilities are excellent. An excellent value for your money.
Surprisingly good coffee!!
Location is super convenient.
Love the afternoon tea included for free.
They provide car service to Ubud palace for free if their car is available on the time requested.
Great private balcony overlooking rice paddy - very quiet. Clean room and beautiful rain shower!.
The partition between the bathroom and the corridor outside looks
flimsy, so safety wise, I don't know.
I think that the room could do with more towels rails to hang up the towels .
May be more light at one mirror so you can see better when you want to apply make up on your face and eyes.
Absolutely nothing. I hope nothing changes about this hotel so when we visit again, it's exactly the same - perfect stay in Ubud.
nothing really. I'd stay there again.
Nothing. If we had a quibble it was that there wasn't 24-hr room service and the restaurant closed fairly early but then again, so does all of Ubud - it's just not that kind of late-night place.
Nothing.
The rooms are made as one space. Bathroom and bedroom are separated only by curtains, which is very cool. The only problem is the extra room in bathroom, which has a wall made of plexiglass, which offers poor sound isolation. We were in the first room on level zero, so everybody walked pass our room and we could hear them quite loud if we haven't had the tv turned on. I am more sensitive about sounds than the average person, that's why I probably even noticed that.
I'm racking my brains to think of anything, but a couple of trivial points - the fruit for breakfast wasn't the best quality, and a choice of breads would be a benefit.
We did not use the spa as this seemed grossly overpriced compared to other spas in Ubud.
Nothing.
Almost nothing.
Not enough shelves and towel racks in the bathroom.
Strong damp smell in the room which i would not expect for a hotel in this price range. Communication prior to our stay was confusing and frustrating. Check in was painful and slow. When letsbookhotel.com asks for payment up front as it does for this part of bali, it is not actually the case with this hotel. All travellers had to check their bank accounts to see if we were about to be charged twice. We had to pay on check in while others just breezed on through.
whats not to like.
Overpriced spa. Noisy traffik infront the restaurant.
Nothing.
there is a noise issue with staff leaving on scooters after late shift. also the closer to the front of the property, the noisier. ask for a room at the back. don't let the front desk organise a car for you, they charge in US$ which makes it much, much more expensive than in rupiah.
I have nothing that I didn't like.
The staff service was a bit slow and as welcoming as expected .
Staff felt a bit rushed and started taking your plates before you had finished your breakfast. Of course they asked, but it felt unconfortable to me and my girlfriend. It's a shame because the breakfast was really good every morning.
Not a thing!.
nothing.
nothing.
A bit too far from the center of Ubud.
Not enough sunbeds by the pool.
We suppose to check out at 12, somehow when we back to our room around 11:40, no
Electricity already. But no big deal, everything else is perfect.
Locatd on busy street (and Ubud IS busy) which gives a lot of noise at the lobba and restaurant. There was jo noise though in the room whoch was located at the back of the resort.
They should have more chairs in the pool. Everything else perfect.
Nothing in the top of my head. Just good comments.
The one thing I didnt like was there ability to communicate with me prior to my trip. We were trying for several weeks prior to our trip and we didnt really hear back from them. We reached out via several different times on facebook and a couple different emails and we didnt get a response until right before we were due to fly out to Bali. It was quite lucky we recieved the notice b/c it was concerning transportation upon our arrival.
The shower floor will be a little bit flooded if you take shower continuously for a few minutes.
Nothing!.
