The breakfast in the morning is another highlight. - We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

Next time we would like to stay this fantastic home style hotel again! thanks for the good - Katie is fantastic. Room had a sofa and beds, beds are basic but do the job. Towels provided. Bathroom has two showers and two basins. Ignore the nonsense elsewhere abou no locking doors, perfectly obvious that showers are in use when shower door and curtain shut. Kitchen has cooker, microwave, free tea and coffee, percolator, everything you need. Fridge and freezer for guests. Wi-Fi and pc for guest use, no charge.TV In room.
