The hotel was excellent. The staff could not do enough to help and went
out of their way on several occasions . The breakfast was lovely too and
we really enjoyed the roof top bar by the swimming pool. It suited us

We loved our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, great service, personal approach. We felt at home there.

The staff at Acropolis were fantastic...very helpful and friendly. The
location in the Plaka was convenient. We were able to walk most places
and did not have to use the metro much at all. From our room the wifi
was weak, but we could use a neighboring hotel's wifi and it was a
good signal. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure how it
was. The fridge in the room was not already turned on, so we had to turn
it on. It was helpful to have an aditional mirror outside the bathroom

Location PERFECT, steps from the metro which is very easy to navigate in Athens. Staff SUPER helpful and informative, rooms luxurious. Bear in mind this is a budget hotel, but probably because it is not in the center. But for the value, the hotel was clearly recently renovated and impeccably so. I stayed just one night and it was easy from the ferry and easy to the airport.

The public transport (bus) is PERFECT from the airport with X96 (3,5€) you arrive very easily and to Athen it is more ore less 40min and you can use A2, E2 or E22. It is a small boutique hotel that is conveniently located between Syntagma and Monastiraki square. It is right along the same street where the airport shuttle drops you off (walk along the street away from the Parliament about 3 blocks). This hotel defies current Greek star ratings. Relative to other hotels outside of intercity Athens, this hotel is easily five stars. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable, the family-run establishment is in a wonderful residential neighborhood, easily within walking distance of great food. Upon booking, I had requested a non-smoking room on a higher floor. When we checked in, we were given a room on a second floor that was a smoking room where everything was scented with nicotine. However the hotel were happy to accommodate us with this change when we checked in. The doors are double to the balcony which is good for the busy street. The non-smoking rooms are clean; however keep your bathroom door shut as the smell of nicotine can come up through the vents of other rooms. The brea

We loved the lift, the breakfast room, the staff very helpful and relaxed. Andreas was very good about emailing me back about various changes to our arrangements and ensuring needs met (adjacent rooms as family of 5 etc) and updating us frankly about the situation in Athens as we booked and were coming a fortnight after the rioting in December 2008

The owner and his wife where very friendly, I felt like home. The room was clean and remodeled with a fridge, tv, air coditionair and wifii. The location was excelent in the town and across the beach. The first night we arrived he gave us the keys and told us we are like a family feel at home.
I recomend this Villa to families, couples or a small group of friends.
