  Pfefferbett is a really cool hostel that's been recently renovated. It's modern and clean and has a range of excellent facilities.   We loved the location but it might not be for everyone, it was not even a 5 minute walk to Alexander platz which was great as where we stayed was quite quiet. The staff were excellent and the hotel was lovely and always immaculate!
