  Excellent location, very close to train station and many restaurants...just a few steps to the lovely lake area. It's close to shopping and sights, too, and if you're not too burdened with luggage, you can walk from the cruise center (we did, with 50-pound bags). We'd stay at Ibis again. - Location was a big plus, walking distance from train station and main city attractions. Staff at the breakfast buffet, bar and front desk were very nice.   I'd best describe the hotel as a "very comfortable, high quality hotel with friendly backpacker hostel type ambiance". Everything has been thought of to make the stay easy, agreable and fun - including option for travellers on a budget. Despite the affortable rooms, I found more "travel essentials" being met at the SuperBude than at most 4* hotels... cosa dice la gente » . We stayed in double rooms and then updadet to the "Rockstar Suite" - definitely worth the money... Tip: if you're staying in the Rockstar Suite, bri - Everything is brand-new and pretty well designed. Very stylish and simple. Breakfast for additional price but that was a good choice of food. The location is excellent: lots of bars, cafes and fruit markets. Just across the hotel one can find small shop to buy fish sandwiches. The centre is reachable by S- and U-Bahn, at the hotel also one can borrow a bike (we didn't try but it supposedly included in price).

  If you have business with the University Clinic-it is ideal. If you visit Hamburg, it is also fine, as it is located close to trendy Eppendorf. Very nice breakfast. - Excellent, friendly staff - all speaking perfect English and very attentive and helpful. Made our Hamburg visit one to cherish. Would definitely recommend.

  I found it all very good,Room clean, large(we had the basic room), good flatscreen. Beds were good, shower good , I could go on but realy we had nothing to conplain. The view from the room was funny, we could see Man At Work in an office. In previous evaluations someone complained about the breakfast but I found the breakfast very good. Car park was great(10 euro/day) - The hotel itself is excellent - nice design, full sound proofing in spite of Reeperbahn next to the hotel building. 3 minutes to the U-bahn. Taxi comes in a few min. Rich breakfast in The dancing towers with salmon and champagne. Free apples in the rooms and at the reception. Good wireless internet for free. SPA and beauty centre for those who wants (we didn't use it). The lobby with a bar looks rather glamourous, like in Bond movies. The price was very nice for a **** hotel.
