  Amazing location just around the corner from the palace. Very near to a selection of traditional bistros and restaurants which were not crazily priced for Paris! Very quiet in the hotel and the family rooms spacious. Breakfast was a bit limited for choice but good value if travelling with children 12 and under as they ate for free! Reception staff helpful wit - Location 3 minutes from the Chateau de Versailles was excellent plus the private underground parking was an essential. The hotel has recently been refurbished so everything is new and the free WiFi worked strongly in our room.

  Excellent small hotel. Very convenient for our visit to Versailles Palace- 10 mins walk. Plenty of restaurants nearby with good price range. Car parking no problem- just outside & reasonable 6 euros/day. Staff very friendly & helpful excellent English spoken. Wonderful continental breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice to wake us up... cosa dice la gente » . Pleasant lounge, dining room & reception area with useful local info. Rooms well decorated & comfortable with lovely hot shower - I stayed one night in this nice little hotel, which is at a superb location if you plan to visit Versailles. It is officially classified as 2 star hotel, but it offers at least a 3 star experience. For instance, how often do you get freshly squeezed orange juice in a 3 star hotel? The staff is very polite, and has a good level of English. I was allowed to check out at 11:30, which was convenient for a short walk to the palace.

  Friendly are helpful service. Rooms full of character. - The staff was friendly and helpful. The room better than expected compared to some other hotels in France with the same # of stars. It's quiet and an easy walk to the palace (most hotels were not so far). Breakfast was good.

  Location was good, central- just 400 metres from the Castle which is the main attraction in the small town. We got 2 rooms on the third floor with balconies- quite nice.   We chose the Richaud as it was within walking distance of the Palace of Versailles and had parking. The car park is quite small so I can imagine there woukd not be enough space in high season but we were able to park ok. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good with very fresh bread and croissants and freshly boiled eggs on offer. Both train stations are within walking distance. The Palace is just a few minutes walk through the Square along the beautiful tree lined mall approach. The Staff are very friendly, warm welcoming and most helpful with all questions, how to get to places, trains etc nothing is too much trouble. Clean with a lovely atmosphere. Would stay again.
