Christian and family were great hosts and provided us with a warm
welcome and many useful suggestions for dining out and local activities.
They clearly enjoy having guests stay at the Chateau and go out of their
way to make sure your needs are catered for. We had two older children
and they enjoyed the additional onsite activities including tennis

day trips to the many beaches and the north of spain including San
Sebastian. -
Incredibly beautiful castle set in gorgeous grounds. Huge spacious rooms that have retained the original beauty from many years ago, with multiple unique features. It's like staying in a National Trust house, except you can touch and use everything! The best thing is the owner - who seems genuinely happy to have guests and goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome, encouraging you to enjoy all of the facilities on offer: the heated swimming pool, the tennis court, etc. Delicious breakfa

Everything! The self catering apartment we had was huge and really well equipped with a large outdoor area and use of the garden, pool etc. Derek and Ellie, the owners, could not have been more helpful and we just wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended. -
