This B&B is 15 minutes away from the Avignon train station, 10 minutes away from St. Remy, about an hour from the lavender fields at Senanque Abbey and 45 minutes away from Pont du Gard (my boyfriend and I rented a car). The breakfasts were excellent and something a little different all three mornings. The venue for the breakfast was beautiful, inside their gorgeous home. Auriol is superb in the morning sun and the delicious home cooked breakfast served on the terrace made it the perfect start for the day! During my stay in France, I have visited Avignon, Gordes, Cassis, Luberon, Marseilles and Aix-en-Provence. Auriol is still my first choice! Definite - We loved the personal atmosphere, the caring land lords, the brilliant and lovely location and the spectacular view over the valley. Also, the pool is a big asset. The location is perfect for a romantic short or mid term break in Provence and even beaches are not far.

  A truly lovely place to stay. Christine and her husband Pascale greeted us with the warmth of old friends. The house has been beautifully renovated by the owner, Christine. We have visited the village of Lourmarin many times but this was our first trip during the winter.   Everything. Large room. Great bed. Excellent bath. French windows and real wood floors. The room was originally a dance studio, so much more than a bedroom. Book it, you will not be disappointed. Marie was as sweet and accommodating as one could ask for, and served a beautiful breakfast.

  We were in a spacious ground floor room with lovely views from our patio door. The meal we reserved was taken under a canopy and was excellent and extremely good value with much of their own produce. A very peaceful setting up quite a long track.
